When do i get my SSL

This process takes about 2 business days when validation resources are available online

I can't find the private key?

If you can’t find your private key it either means you are installing the certificate on the incorrect server (not the one you generated the CSR from) or you have lost it in which case you will need to replace your SSL with a new CSR

I'm renewing, my certificate why do you need to revalidate everything ?

Certificate Authorities are required to revalidate your company registration and status with your local business register entity every 13 months to ensure you are still registered and operating. any certificate issued within that 13 months period will not require company validation. However, should you request an SSL 13 months after the initial authentication (even renewals) a full company check will need to be completed with your local business register.

Why are you cheaper than the CA

As an authorized partner, we extend our reseller discount to our customers. this enable us to sell our product at a relatively lower price than the Certificate Authority themselves.

Who will issue my SSL

Each certificate sold on our shop is validated by the CA based on their validation policy, Prima Secure only facilitate a faster issuance by pre-validating your certificate to ensure the vendor has sufficient information to faster delivery.

How can i confirm Prima Secure is an Authorized reseller?

We have been providing web security for multiple banks and government entities around the world for the past 5 years,  the best way to confirm who we are is to reach the partner support department of each of our vendor (Thawte , geotrust, Digicert, Comodo, Globalsign) who will be more than happy to confirm our identity.

What is a CSR?

A CSR or Certificate Signing request is a block of encoded text that is given to a Certificate Authority when applying for an SSL Certificate. It is usually generated on the server where the certificate will be installed and contains information that will be included in the certificate such as the organization name, common name (domain name), locality, and country. It also contains the public key that will be included in the certificate

Where do i find the private Key?

When generating your CSR , a private key will automatically be generated with and will only match the public key (SSL certificate) file issued by the CA. The private key or .key file will remain on the server where the CSR was generated.
